Asprey Miniature Silver Carriage Clock By Martyn Pugh

A fine miniature carriage timepiece retailed by Asprey of London, standing 9cm tall including the handle. The case is solid silver and hallmarked for 1989, made by Martyn Pugh, a known silversmith from Birmingham still working today. The white enamel dial is in great condition and is signed Asprey, with small stylish Roman numerals and Breguet style hands. Standing on silver bun feet, with an attractive ‘C scroll’ handle, this clock is an exceptional example of a modern silversmith-made carriage timepiece. Running for a week on a full wind.
