Meyer Paris Pendule Portative

A fine Pendule Portative made by Meyer of Paris. The case is constructed of solid Oak and Rosewood with boxwood inlays of geometric style to the edges and a fine floral design to the sides and front panel.  Meyer,  Paris stamped to the back plate, smaller than average size. Dial has lovely ripple engine turned finish catches light like silk, countwheel striking on a bell and can be run silently if desired.  Circa 1850.
